I placed an order for a set of Sony ear buds for my wife and myself each and cost about INR40 000, the payment deducted from my card, only to have the order cancelled by Amazon. So as a first time buyer of anything from Amazon anywhere in the world, and as new customer, I selected the Prime product to expedite delivery for r399.00. The Prime “purchase” went through just fine though! I contacted the call center and they apologized for the inconvenience and requested me to place the order again. So they debited my account again with just over INR40 000.00, and the order was immediately cancelled by Amazon. So I contacted the call center again, only to be told they cancelled my order because “I have had too many returns”! Can you imagine that, having never dealt with Amazon in my life before being told that! I asked what items have I returned, but all I get is “ the Amazon team” says that you have had too many returns! How could I have had too many returns if I have never dealt with Amazon in my life before! So nearly a month later I am still a Prime member ( they were happy to take my money for that) but refuse to sell me anything! I wish I could get my money back for the Prime waste of time and just walk away from Amazon and never go near them again.
