I ordered a Zanussi Canopy Cooker Hood. At checkout on the website there was a pop up saying don't forget you'll need a ducting kit- we recommend : Universal 120-125mm Diameter 3m Kitchen Cooker Hood Ducting Kit.
On this recommendation I added it to my order. When it came to be fitted 4 weeks later the electrician informed me that the 'universal' ducting kit- did not fit the extractor. It's unscrupulous to recommend items that do not work together. It's also misleading to describe an item as 'universal' when it doesn't fit a brand you are selling on your website. As I am a few days over the 30 days return in their t+c's customer services have refused to do anything. I feel I was mis-sold in their keenness to upsell at checkout.
Update: I have been offered to return the £10 vent. The cost they are charging for the return is £15. This is despite the fact that they mis-sold me the product.
