Ordered a microwave ,next day delivery at £9.99 which was fine I was happy to pay that as the product I bought was cheaper than anywhere else I could find. However, the courier would not leave it unless I was there to sign for it, nor would they re-direct it leave it with a neighbour or any other option normally available. Why was this the directive of the the company? The only way I could receive my delivery was to wait two days until the weekend when I was not working and pay a further £4.99. I was not happy and write an email to Appliances Direct to say they needed to make it clear on their website if that was the case, or change there courier DPD as they were ripping of their customers. I was just having a rant really and did not expect any reply or action. Appliances Direct refund the the £9.99 I had paid to them, I did not expect or request this. I think this was excellent customer service and will definitely be buying from them again, they upheld there end it was the delivery company I had the issues really. Product would had arrived on time, in good condition and at an excellent price. All in all would recommend this company.
