Appliances diret were great but I've only given 3* because I didn't receive my item and had to cancel the order.
I ordered a BBQ to finish off an outdoor kitchen area we've been building. I only had that weekend available to receive the order and build/finish the kitchen. The rest of the month I'm too busy at work and not in. Ordering with appliances direct was great and really easy. The delivery cost was £30, I needed it for that Saturday so that was fine as long as it arrived. Unfortunately the delivery company they used Arrow XL didn't deliver it. I got a delivery slot of 7-9am, that time went and passed with no communication. I spent the morning on their chat trying to get through to customer service and they sent this reply "We can confirm that the order has been taken off the route for today as there was an issue with the planning of the van and not all of the items were able to fit on," so they just cancelled my delivery on me because it couldn't fit on a van. I'll be honest I've never had that before, pretty pathetic excuse for a £30 delivery fee. I had to cancel the order and I'll buy a new BBQ next time I've got some free time to receive it and set it all up but I'll be trying a different company this time. I wouldn't order from someone who uses arrow XL. Again appliances diret were great with processing the refund and money was returned within a few days, it's a shame the delivery company let them down.
