I order a few things from Appliances Direct as they were the most affordable option. The orders included 2 sinks, one a compost 1.5 sink and the other a stainless steel sink. The composite sink arrived in 2 pieces!! snapped in-between the sink sections (for this level of damage it must have been dropped from a significant height) and the stainless steel sink was badly dented in 2 places. Both unusable. They did refund the composite sink (after saying they wouldn't as I reported it over their 14 day period after delivery (I had left it boxed to protect it until it was needed for the worktop template - the lesson is always check immediately on arrival) and they did reluctantly replace the stainless steel sink. I also ordered a fridge freezer which arrived almost undamaged - only one small dent on the fridge door. I accepted this as it seems too much of a lottery to see if you will receive undamaged goods and a replacement could have had more damage, so a small dent may be the least of the problems.
