Part I. The engineers came in but did not install the washing machine the first time claiming they needed an electrician to fix smth and it was not safe. Fine.
Part II. With the electrical fixes, they came back again 2 days later (different crew), but then said straight away that 2nd floor was too high and they did not want to break their backs for AO’ and going to cancel the order again. My question is, if that’s indeed too high why did AO never let us know this could be an issue? And why was the first crew OK with this??
After a 30 min debate the 2nd crew indicated they wanted an extra 50£ in cash on top of the 1000£+ we paid to AO already otherwise they would have to cancel the order and leave. With not a lot of options we gave them 50£. They brought the machine up, but then flooded the floor big time as they were trying to disconnect/reconnect the water pipes without properly sealing them off.
I feel for the engineers on a certain level (heavy load, health concerns etc.), but why is it us having to deal with all of this? AO should sort this mess out if you want happy customers. Which we are not
All in all, a terrible experience with a huge price tag.
