Bought a washer dryer from AO. At first service seemed outstanding. Paid extra for next day delivery, the machine unpacking and for our machine to be taken away. After 32 days the machine violently kangaroo'd across the kitchen floor. Asked AO is we could exchange for a new machine even if that meant we had to pay more. AO insisted on an engineer to come out. They said we'd get a 3 hour time slot sent to us the day before. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. Ended up taking the entire day off. The engineer said the machine was fine and that we'd overloaded it.
Although it's a new machine it is exactly the same model as our old one which we had for 10 years. I'm sure I would know whether or not I'd overloaded it!!!! Patronizing or what?
AO will not let us exchange the product as we have had it for more than 30 days.
Next time I'll buy a second hand reconditioned one, as the old adage of "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR" certainly doesn't hold weight any more.
