I had a washing machine delivered on Thursday, it was intended that I had a disconnection, new washing machine connected and old machine taken away. The only thing that I could have done was the old washing machine taken away. I found the delivery men, not very helpful. When inspecting where the new washing machine would go, I was told that he could not connect my new washing machine because my connection pipes were not secure enough, even though my old washing machine had been connected for 7 years without any problems!! Common sense could have been applied!! And he would not disconnect which I had to do. Once I unwrapped the new machine and connected it, the new machine then started to leak from the front of the machine and not from where it has been connected. It is leaking from the filter hose. Upon ringing AO I was informed I then had to make an appointment with Hotpoint which I did and have this appointment for this week. So I have had no new washing machine for a week and I find this totally unacceptable and will not be ordering from AO again and I am not expecting great things when the Engineer from Hotpoint comes and tells me how long I have to wait without using my new washing machine!!
