My elderly mother ordered a gas cooker and asked that it be installed and that the jets be changed to LPG when they delivered and fitted the cooker.
She was told that it was no problem and my mother paid for the delivery and installation including taking the old one away.
This was on Sunday and today (Tuesday 18th August) she received a call to say they weren’t able to install the cooker because of covid.
But they would be willing to see if there were any plumbers in her area that would do it.
So the delivery guys can go into her property and take the old one out and they can go in to deliver a new one but not install it????
My mother lives in a retirement park Miles from any retail outlet where there are no cases of covid for starters, she would of taken every precaution for not just the installation but for herself as she has copd.
I recommend your company as I had a cooker deliver a few weeks ago.
You ask why I can’t help and the reason is I live 170 mile from her.
Why was money taken and her order taken when it couldn’t be completed????
Complete incompetence and really angry that you have upset my mother in such a way.
And to add insult she now has to wait 3 to 5 working days to get her money back before she can get one else where.
