My underaged son’s iPhone 11 128 G battery exploded while charging in his sleep. I called and made a claim. My phone was promised for same day delivery. My phone did not come in the time frame given after I had paid for the replacement device. We were given ability to track the technician delivering the device. The technician never responded or called back after I texted and called.
I was forced to call and go through the prompts several times every time I called them back. I have paid for this insurance for over 7 years I have not made a claim since 2021. There was 0 compensation for me the customer that has been inconvenienced. The phone is for my teenage son. For my ability to track and contact. This has left us venerable. They have given me a delivery time for the second time 3 days after my claim. I was supposed to receive the same day. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told he’ll tell me the compensation is that I will receive a phone at all and I’ll have to wait on hold for 20 minutes to speak to a supervisor. I would think there would be more understanding due to my young son being endangered by an explosion of an iPhone battery while he rested. There was no compensation or compassion. I am extremely disappointed. My issue has yet to be resolved
