Verizon should not have Asurion as a vendor. In my opinion, they committed fraud by billing my Verizon bill for a protection plan that I did not order. With lack of response from Asurion I brought Verizon in to my situation. I have utilized Verizon for over 20+ years. Verizon credited my account to my satisfaction. My local Verizon store shared with me that they experience complaints regarding Asurion more that any other issues. Do not do business with Asurion or you can be assured that you will have issues with this company.

My son broke his iPad and they verified coverage and had me send it to them from repair. They were supposed to fix it and send it back to me within 5 business days. Over 30 days later, the status online still showing not available so I called them. Then they advised me that it was unrepairable and that I had to file a new claim for replacement. Someone supposedly from the "Office of the CEO" was helping me start the new claim without any explanation of what happened to the old one. Then they promptly denied my claim because the date on the new claim had to be the date that they determined it was unrepairable despite them never communicating that date to me and there not being a place on the claim form for it. They then "helped" me file yet another claim with the new date and verbiage they told me to put just to get it denied because they already replaced the iPad. When I asked for proof like date they replaced it, tracking number, model number, serial number, and/or any other evidence, she told me that could not provide that information for some nonsensical reason. This company is a fraud and they are scamming customers. Avoid the headache and do not purchase their insurance!

Verizon rep tricked me to sign up. Signing up could be done by him. Trying to cancel was close to impossible. Difficult to speak to someone on Asurion about your account. Fortunately I managed to cancel via My Verizon app else I'd still be waiting to hear from Asurion. Sketchy company with terrible customer service.

Had them repair a broken back glass on wife’s I-Phone Pro-Max 15. Technician did not ever replace the glass, gave her back the phone and left. The back of the phone fell off. Asurion said it would be 1-2 business days to ship a replacement phone. Spoke to three different people at escalating positions and they all said the same thing. Customer Service sucks. They broke her phone and it now doesn’t even work. Have to be without a phone all weekend and who knows how long. Unacceptable. I’m done with these people

They denied my claim because it showed in their records that the phone I have been using for more than a year was not active 4 days ago. I called Verizon twice to help me so Verizon could tell Asurion the phone was active. Asurion did not care. Worthless company. Verizon is sending me a new phone for free and filing a complaint with Asurion for mishandling the claim.

Been without a dryer for months because they fail to fix the problem and won't replace it or refund us. Terrible phone service- you can't talk to anyone who can actually help resolve matters. Don't even bother speaking to the first rep. Skip to escalations, even though they are almost as unhelpful

Horrible phone service I called and didn’t say a word yet. The guy started his script and didn’t even finish before he says “WHAT WAS THAT” “Hello?” And when I say I haven’t said anything for the third time he says “Okay?” And FREAKING HANGS UP ON ME! I go through the whole thing again and they let it ring and then silence!!!! They purposefully didn’t answer! WORST COMPANY EVER I HOPE YOU FIRE THAT JERK! I just wanted to freaking cancel my plan!

After paying the insurance for 3 years, my phone broke. I paid the additional $150 and was sent a refurbished phone that did not work. I called and complained they sent me another refurbished phone which again did not work. I am a senior living by myself and could not risk not having a phone. My children lent me money to buy a new phone. Asurian is not credible and i feel this was very diceiving.

I paid for the home service for 3 years. Valid claim with photos was submitted. Resubmitted photos multiple times. Denied coverage for an internal failure. Refused to even come assess the TV.

Pay the $20 a month for the last 3 years, never had a problem before. This time around they had the phone but not the color option I needed and with my job, my uniform needs to be black. She told me those were the two choices I had, I can leave the claim open and check in later, to see if a black one showed up, I could buy a case, I don't feel it should cost me more money on top of the deductible. I asked if there was any other option she said no. What a waste of of money to pay for insurance for the last 3 years, added it up, its ridiculous.

I never had issues in the past, this latest claim has been a nightmare! I was told for five days in a row the phone would arrive and for each of those 5 days it never had, I asked for the 100 deductible back and they did oblige, however I had to retry again due to shattered screen & glass shards. Started a claim again paid 100 deduct, they said my latest phone was brand new but it refuses to charge, now I sit w no cell until yet another comes in the mail!

I have been an asurion customer for over 20 years. I rarely file a claim. Can count the account of claims I've filed on 1 hand. Although they have gotten better, they still find any reason to continue to raise the price. I started out at $10 per line, now it's up to $68. It was just increased about a year ago. Just taking advantage of customers that don't abuse our over use the services. My bill runs $10 for 2 lines total. I'm paying them $68 per month of that bill. Sad.
