If I could rate a -5 stars I would. for Asurion AND UPS.
I followed Asurions written directions on where I could return my warranty phone, to be sent back to Asurion without being charged. One of the places ON Asurions OWN return procedure was a UPS drop box. It was Sunday, no one was open, so I had no choice but use this option. I returned the phone at a drop box location in Frisco, TX. About a month later I was charged a non-return fee of $300 from Asurion. When I called to find out why, they stated I hadn't returned my phone, which I had almost a month prior to. Then they stated that because UPS never scanned the tracking number to convert it from a USPS tracking number to UPS, there was nothing they could do, never mind the fact that I have used their warranty services MULTIPLE times and ALWAYS returned my phone. It's very poor customer service to shrug someone off and say they can't help me. Not to mention told me I'd have to call UPS and file a claim, which I did, but was then told there was nothing they could do for me either cause it was never scanned in!! So basically someone at UPS STOLE my warranty phone and now Asurion is charging me for a procedure of THEIRS that I followed. I will never use them, UPS or Verizon again once my contract is up..
