I bought a Bosch dishwasher from Home Depot in 2020 and purchased the extended warranty which is delivered by Asurion. My dishwasher stopped working 6 weeks ago. I called the warranty line and scheduled an appointment. They could not come to look at my dishwasher for 5 days. The guy came and said it needed a new part. 10 days later, the same guy came to install the part. He was watching videos on how to do the repair. My dishwasher leaked water all over the kitchen on the first use. Nobody could come to look at it for 5 more days. On the 5th day, they called to say the repair person was sick. I was scheduled for 5 more days. A new person came and said that it needed the same part. He ordered it and came 10 days later to install it. The next day, the dishwasher gave the same error code and stopped working. I just called again. Asurion said they have to start a new repair so they will come at the earliest in 6 days. My experience with this is horrific. If I had known the Asurion Home Depot service was so horrible, I would have (1) never purchased an extended warranty and (2) just bought a new unit. I WILL NEVER BUY A HOME DEPOT APPLIANCE AGAIN. Their plans are fraudulent. They are horrible. Their service is horrible and their repair people do not know what they are doing. I doubt they use authentic parts.
