The reason for 3 stars is the velcro on the hock brace. There is no need for it to go all the way around the brace since you could never close it that far. Because of the exposed velcro, it is sticking to the rug which not only pulled the fiber from the rug but is stuck in the velcro. I spend time pulling the fibers out of the velcro and coming up with a sort of solution by attaching sticky tape to the exposed part. Impossible to know if the Welltex actually does more than another brace. Wish my dog could tell me how he feels but he can't :-). Also disappointed to find that the product is made in China.
