Having read so many negative reviews AFTER I had placed my order, I began to regret it. I mean, someone has actually set up a Facebook group dedicated to complaints. Thankfully the guitar and case arrived in the condition you would expect and within the timeframe stated. Both guitar and case were double boxed. I felt that the communication from Bax and the courier (UPS) was very good though a window of delivery for the actual delivery day would have been helpful. This is more of a UPS issue than one for BAX though. So why three stars? The first reason is that I find the trading practices a little misleading. The whole website experience and transaction process leads the customer to think they are dealing with a company based in Folkestone UK. It is only after the order is on its way that you discover the shipping is from the Netherlands. Thankfully there were no post-Brexit charges or customs delays, but I would, at the moment, prefer to spend my money within the UK and some clarity over this would have meant me looking elsewhere. The second reason for the three stars is that the day after receiving it I've had to find a luthier to set it up as it was almost unplayable with stiff and high action. It's unlikely that I would use Bax again because simply feeling relieved that I got my stuff is not a great motive to do so.
