I bought two Fazley guitars: the hot rod S type, and a B stock tele type, with ash burl top. I bought these as an experiment, because I'd seen reviews praising the quality of these ultra low cost guitars, and thought they could be an ideal base for modding, as they are even cheaper than most DIY kits. I must say, I'm not disappointed. The guitars arrived on time, well packaged, double boxed, and with a free guitar lead and allen keys. I had to do a little bit of work on the action of both guitars, as they were a little high, the frets could do with a bit more of a polish, but generally these are quite well finished guitars, fairly playable out of the box, they have no major faults, the pickups sound ok, I suppose you can tell the hardware doesn't look expensive, but these really are a bargain, and would be idea for a new player, or someone on a tight budget, or just for anyone who likes a bargain. I've already bought new hardware for mine, and I'll probably relic them or put a new finish on.
