It seems that Benson Bed are taking customers money to keep their business afloat. I ordered 2 beds at the beginning of September and was told due to COVID delivery would be 26th November. This was a long time however as we were due to move house and at this point we hadn’t confirmed a move date I thought the kids can sleep on a mattress for a month. Then before lockdown 2.0 I was contacted asking to pay the remainder of the balance, I asked why as I didn’t need to pay the balance until a week before delivery, a ploy to get money from customers without providing items. I was contacted 10 days before delivery asking for payment stating that my beds were due for delivery on the 26th November. A 8 days before delivery I paid the balance nearly 2 grand only to be called the next day to tell me that due to COVID my delivery date is now the 10th December. It’s absolutely appalling and using COVID as an excuse. I would not shop with them ever again.
