Purchased a bed 2nd week of January and given a date of the 4th March for delivery. We have received 4 texts confirming bed would be delivered on the 4th March as promised. We have painted the bedroom dismantled and sold my daughters current bed so she now has no proper bed to sleep on and my wife as taken time off work to be here for when the e bed was due to be delivered only to be called the afternoon before saying the bed wasn't in stock and they can't confirm when it will now be delivered but the system will be updated over night and a new date provided and they will call to confirm in the morning 4th March. At 15.43pm because I still hadn't heard anything as never got a call had to chase them again after waiting ages for a member of staff Nicola to eventually pick up the phone to be told the bed did get delivered to them on Thursday 3rd March but missed their delivery van and delivery to us now won't be to us until the 14th April another 6 weeks time approx. Explained not good enough and promised by Nicola she would call me back today once she has spoken to distribution and again and surprise surprise no call back. The man who sold us the bed in the first place in Reading is a credit to the company - the after service is shocking do not use BENSONS if you expect a half decent service or what you have paid for to be delivered on time. I have asked Anthea on my call yesterday for financial compensation as my wife has lost a days work and she said they will look at this once the bed is delivered so anybody else who experiences the same service make sure you get something off the price you paid if the bed ever turns up.
