Ordered a bed back in December for our new house. This was a Tv bed. When we got it delivered in January the Tv never came. There was no notice of this! Had to pick it up for store weeks later. It gets worse. I noticed a ditch in the wood some weeks later and nails started to stick out of the side of the base. Called bensons for beds and spoke to a lovely lady called Jo who was really helpful. She said she would order a new base but unfortunately our bed had been discontinued so we would need to get an alternative. She advised us to go to store and see the alternative to make sure we were happy. We were told that if it was more expensive that we would not need to pay the difference as that is all they could offer us. When we went into store they said they could not order it without us paying £900 extra and told us to call bensons for beds back. Called them back and they have told us that for us to get the alternative bed that we need to pay £900 more. So we order a bed that they deliver faulty and they can not replace like for like so we have to pay £900 to get the equivalent. The only people to gain is bensons for beds for their mistake. They also told us that the new bed is a massive upgrade that’s why we need to pay more! However it is not a massive upgrade it is the same as our current bed but the new bed can lift to put storage under. We just want the same bed that they sold us without no damage. If they cannot offer us that then put your mistake right and offer us the equivalent. We got a discount on the bed that we have so cannot get anything for the same value however it feels because we got a discount we are not valued as customers and deserve a faulty bed. Disgusting customer service!! I will be telling everyone I know never to use this business again!!
