We received our bed in mid January, paid a lot of money for the bed, delivery was fine and on time. Followed care instructions for top to toe turning the mattress, all was fine until today 25th when we went to turn the mattress my husband leaned over to grab the mattress handle and rested on the base with his other hand and the base cracked. Phoned customer service explained what had happened they informed me that it was accidental damage and were not going to do anything, the service was absolutely shocking, no help what so ever, the bed is 2 months old. We have photos to show where the base has cracked, as you can see the build quality is shocking, it is like thick cardboard that has been used on the bed base. Any body who is contemplating buying a bed from BFB, seriously think before buying from BFB. We were not looking for a refund or a new bed just for someone to have a look and fix the bed, we are now stuck with a faulty bed, the guarantee is not worth the paper it is written on, don't be taken in by the 5 year guarantee it means nothing.
