Was lied to in store about being able to receive our wardrobe sooner, so the assistant could make a quick sale - turns out we couldn’t receive it sooner and was just told that to secure the sale. Wardrobe eventually turns up 2 months later and the back panels are missing, ring up the next day and told I have to wait another 6 weeks to receive the missing parts. Wasn’t happy about this so the assistant offered me a £39.99 refund for the delivery fee which I accepted, but upon checking my online banking later that day had seen that bensons for beds have charged me £39.99 instead of refunding me. I rang up to challenge this as this is fraudulent use of my card by Bensons for beds and was accused of lying, told to send screenshots of my online banking which I did, and was then told I had to wait another 3 days before they could help as they needed to make sure this correlated with their bank books, even though I had sent the evidence. To top it off the woman on the phone claimed that the screenshot of my online banking showing the charge of £39.99, was infact was a refund? Joke of a company, would NEVER buy from here again and strongly advise others not to
