We were shown 2 Tempur mattresses to choose from, and told if we don;t like we can change as long as its within 40 nights. Paid £1,899 waited 3 weeks for delivery, arranged a house sitter to be in. called an hour before due to be told it had been taken off the van because it was overloaded. Eventually got that sorted and delivered later.
Don't like the mattress as it has proved to be too firm. called customer services got though after 37mins to arrange exchange , told i have to keep it for 40 nights before i can exchange cant help wont help.
Called in at the shop only to see same mattress reduced by £200 asked for my refund as per their 30 day price guarantee told it does not apply to Benson stores. Rip off.
Tried to call customer services took 48mins to get through, basically not interested at all. Told if i can find the same mattress at a non Benson store then i could get a refund, but Bensons rename all of their mattresses so you will never get an identical match. We bought from Dalton park, the manger there could not be more unhelpful if she tried. Please tell everyone you know do not buy from Bensons, how they still trade beggars believe. I will stick with John Lewis from now on. All Benson staff especially customer services should take a leaf out of their training manual on how to treat customers, By the way i can change my mattress after 40 nights, but it will cost me £190 plus delivery. NEVER AGAIN
