It's a pity the star rating doesn't go below zero. My daughter bought a bed almost three weeks ago and it was delivered in part on Monday this week. Some idiot at the warehouse had "lost" the mattress. Not a small item! Regardless, they delivered the base unit and headboard at 06.40am having given a window of 07.00-13.00. OK so far apart from no mattress.
One of the drawers in the base unit fell apart when I removed the protective packaging.
So, we spent about three hours on Tuesday speaking with customer "services" to establish when the mattress would be delivered. They could not help. They promised to call back on Thursday with news. They didn't. I spend all morning trying to call them until noon when their outgoing voice message changed to say their system had crashed. No doubt under the weight of complaints. Again, all this morning wasted trying to get some news as we have guests arriving on Saturday. The waiting time on the phone varies from 20 mins to an astonishing 45 mins. I have asked to speak to both the depot manager and the transport manager but apparently this is forbidden. Where is the customer service they boast about? Where is the flaming mattress? Accrington is only 40 mins from our home. Is it beyond them to say that they would stick the mattress on a Transit van and deliver it? No service. No initiative. No more business for them. Bye the way, the bed is poorly made from the cheapest of materials. I could have knocked up a better drawer divan base unit in a couple of hours for around £40.
