Bensons only delivered part of my order which I only found out when it was delivered. They had lost the other part. Did not tell me in advance and when I telephoned it took ages to get through, I was then promised a call back which did not happen, so yet further waits to get through again. This happened on several occaisions. Finally the other part was delived and Benson's were supposed to contact me to discuss compensation, but did not do so. I telephoned them and after yeat another long waith got through and asked to be phoned back by a deadline which I set this time. No call came through by the deadline.
I wrote to the MD an got an emailed response which I replied to. Despite reminders still no response so I wrote again to the MD and this resulted in another email, to which I replied. On this occasion I was amazed to get a reply without further telephone calls and letters to the MD, but they are still quibbling over the amount of compensation. It also turns out that they had the wrong name on the order despite the ship staff seeing my credit card. All in all. a shocking organisations which seems to relish in tranforming an initial complaint into something worse. It as getting to the stage where i tought it would be better to sleep on the streets, ot could hardly be less damaging to my health than all the raised blood pressure dealing with such an amazingly incompetent organisation.
