NEVER SHOP AT BENSONS!!!!
We ordered bedroom furniture in January and were told a delivery date of March 8th. My wife booked time off for this date and we were told we'd be contact 2 days before with a delivery time. The 7th arrived and still no contact so I phoned them to be told we had changed the date to 14th. I said we hadn't and was offered March 12th earliest as the furniture was now in and available. This did not suit so agreed March 22nd with them. Again my wife booked that date off work. We then get a message on 20th to say they cannot deliver due to ferry strikes, I obviously phoned to question as I was told our furniture was available in stock, to be told they shouldn't have said that. the lady said it is now 28th I asked to speak to someone more senior and was put on hold. after 35 minutes I gave up. Anyway, I booked 28th March off and we got the messages to confirm delivery and a time slot, 12-6pm. Anyway this morning (28th) at around 10.30 we get a message to say they cannot deliver, so I phone customer services yet again, to be told they don't even have the furniture available. Extremely annoyed I question why to be told they have no availability information and they'll contact me Monday. What an extremely unprofessional, unorganized bunch Bensons are. The service is abysmal and will NEVER use again
