DON'T BUY A WARDROBE FROM BENSONS!
Wardrobes were delivered in March 2019 and when the driver opened the van, the parts had not been tied to the side of the van correctly and surprise surprise numerous parts were damaged. It took 6 months and 38 phone calls to be sorted.
I was originally told the parts would be reordered and would take 6 weeks to arrive. 6 weeks later, got a phone call to say my parts had been lost in transit (only to be then told they were damaged).
Benson's re-ordered the parts and told me that I needed to wait another 6 weeks.
6 weeks later got another phone call to say the manufacturer in Germany can no longer supply the parts and that as a gesture of goodwill they would replace both wardrobes were newer "soft closing" versions. I told them I needed to check with the wife and I would ring them back to confirm. Cue several phone calls where they told me the parts were still due to be delivered - imagine the frustration of trying to tell them that according to someone else on their staff had told me they were no longer being delivered.
Anyway - eventually realised their mistake and the old wardrobes were dismantled, the new wardrobes were delivered (but were not soft closing) and then had to wait 10 days were them to be erected by servicor.
I was promised that on successful delivery I would receive a gesture of goodwill payment. I didn't, so I phoned them and they offered £40 - WOW.
In short - avoid at all costs. Terrible customer service, no ownership, poor communications. SHAMBOLIC
