My bed came in two boxes, they sent one the correct colour, another one was wrong. I wasn't there to check the order and this was missed. That's fine, mistakes happen, it's everything else which happened after which irritates me. I called to get this swapped, the person on the call said they had it in stock and it would be there Monday, great. I also got and email confirmation. I took a day off work and waited, but nothing arrived. I call them the next day and they denied ever tell me it would be there. I waited a couple of weeks chasing for when this would be delivered, each time I have to explain my issue from the start. No matter what Invoice, Order, Customer service or Email number I gave, they could never find any information on the system. I had friends coming over and needed another bed (I been sleeping on spare mattress of the floor for 3 weeks now). The salesperson had told me not to sleep on the new mattress they until it was on the bed frame or it would warp. I called customer service to ask for an update and they offered (without me asking) to send an inflatable mattress which would arrive the day my friends were coming. I spent a whole day at home, again off work, but it didn't arrive. In the end they slept on the mattress not on the frame. When I called the next day, they told me the previous customer service person had, at no point, offer me an inflatable bed, and that their manager had called me to tell me I would not be receiving the bed promised, but couldn't get through to me. I told them I didn't see how both the statements could be true. If I had never been promised an inflatable, why would someone try to call to cancel it? They very aggressively told me I was wrong, without further explanation. When the frame finally arrived, the mattress was indeed warped, and doesn't fit the frame. Also the frame is scratched and the paint had peeled off in places. I would call, but I'm not prepared to waste any more of my time dealing with these people. In total I spent 4 days sitting at home waiting for this to be delivered. They were completely unsympathetic about making me book time off work. When it did finally arrive, the delivery people (a separate company) said they had no record of having to pick up the old bed and were trying to deliver two new boxes. They kindly said they would pick up the wrong one and sort it. They told me Bensons are their worst client, really poorly organised and how they refuse refunds under any circumstances. To summaries, the customer service staff don't have a clue what’s going on and just tell you whatever to get you off the phone, because next time you call, you'll be talking to someone else who also won't have a clue. DO NOT USE!
