We bought a bed in early January with bensons for beds and I honestly wish I had bought it from anywhere else.
The delivery men were awful and put zero effort in taking it up the stairs and then decided it wouldn’t fit so left my house as I was speaking to customer service on the phone. Customer service was shocking and told me I should have better common sense than to order a bed too big (it wasn’t too big).
I asked for the bed to be returned as I was confident the bed WOULD fit up the stairs and the delivery was delayed several times. When they eventually gave me a delivery date, they said that the bed had been damaged during transit and that i could wait for a new bed or take the bed and have a refund. I opted for the refund as by this point not having a bed was just inconvenient.
Upon delivery, the bed fitted just fine up the stairs and my partner agreed a refund price over the phone. We were never once asked to send photos of the damage and we assumed that they must have taken pictures the self considering they were the ones who told us the bed was damaged in the first place.
We are now being refused a refund and being treated like absolute dirt by customer service.
I am planning on returning my bed for a full refund and making sure that myself or anyone I know ever buys from benson for beds.
