The buying experience at Bensons was fine, good service and got the bed we wanted. Spent £1359 on a new mattress and bed. After 8 months the stitching has come apart in one corner exposing the inside of the mattress. Sent them 2 photographs and asked them can they resolve. Responses take 4 days on average, first response was an standard email apologising that we were. Or happy, but it was up to us to prove that the mattress is faulty as it isn’t over 6 months old, and we would have to arrange an pay for an inspection(£100) to prove it. If they agree they will refund the fee. I have responses that I am not happy, Cani have the details to escalate, and basically got a response to say that it is not their policy to escalate. I thought that was my decision? Currently getting int ouch with trading standards for something that I thought would be straight forward. Avoid Bensons for Beds at all costs, and choose smaller retailers who may actually care about your return business...
