I ordered my bed earlier this year, part of which has been delivered however, I am still awaiting delivery of my bed and wardrobe. I appreciated the updates via email and with lockdown expected delays to deliveries. I also had phone calls advising me of this. However during this time I have sold my house and am in the process of moving to a new address - I am currently at a temporary address until my new build property is finished.
I emailed Bensons to advise of this and got an automatic reply saying they will acknowledge in 10 days. Which again is fine as it is unlikely I will be moved until the end of June. However, 2 days later I get an email stating the bed will be delivered to my old address on the 9th of June. I no longer live there so I called the number given to advise of this and every option it takes you to cuts you off saying they are not taking calls other than the new business line for new orders which has a 67 minute wait.
I have had no reply to my email and of course the 9th of June is within 10 days so even if I email as everything is suggesting I won’t get a reply before it is delivered to my old address.
I am at a loss as to what to do other than keep trying to call and stay on hold.
Terrible customer service when I actually need it!
