Worst purchase experience ever
Bought two king size mattresses and a bunk bed with trundle (and three respective mattresses) in May. Expected delivery 6 to 8 weeks, which worked for me. One mattress was delievered relatively promptly (from an external supplier, as I understand). The rest was scheduled to be delivered on 14 July. On that day no delivery was made and I called customer services. Spent a long time waiting to eventually talk to an assistant who didn't seem to care and who told me I wasn't going to receive my furniture because one (more?) of the items hadn't reached their warehouse. They couldn't split the delivery of my order nor could they give me an expected delivery date. From that day onwards it's been a saga - I've written numerous emails (they haven't replied) and tried Twitter at some point. They seem to reply there, but the answers are vague, unhelpful and often inaccurate. The social media team say they can't sort your problem if you've ordered online (!!!!). I was getting distressed: no furniture, and more than 2K in their hands with no idea of when (if) I was ever going to get my furniture or my money back. At the end ofJuly I sent an email to cancel the item that I believed to be the outstanding one - no reply as expected. Until someone on Twitter suggested emailing the CEO. I did that yesterday, acompanying an email requesting the cancellation of all my order. In a few hours I had the cancellation sorted and my refund processed. Pathetic. It's been very stressful and I do not recommend any business with them. Ever.
