The first mattress we got had huge dips in it and was leaning to the side, (we’re not heavy people either) we put up with it for three years, the mattress had a five year guarantee so we finally sent photos to Bensons for beds customer service, we were to told we had to have, and pay for, an independent review as it was more than 6 months after purchase, the review confirmed as faulty, we claimed, and got, the money back for the review. Was told to choose a new mattress and base as the one I had originally was discontinued. I only wanted a replacement mattress as the base was fine, customer service were having none of it, they said because it was bought as a set it all had to be replaced, three phone calls later, they weren’t budging, the customer service assistant would not let me speak to a manager, she said “we’re trained to deal with complaints” she wasn’t dealing with it very well, I insisted I wanted to speak to a manager, I was put on hold for a few minutes and when the assistant came back she said the manager had refused to speak to me! Anyway, we went into store and chose another mattress, and reluctantly chose a new base, delivery was due on 27th March, because of Covid-19 the order was cancelled two days before the delivery date, eventually got the mattress and base four months later and the base was damaged! Most annoying as the base we had to send back was perfectly fine. Have been told a new base has been ordered but nothing heard since. I only hope we don’t have any problems with the new mattress. I can not and will not recommend this company, the customer service is the worst I have ever encountered and the products are sub standard, unfortunately I cannot leave a 0 or minus star review.
