If you are looking for a washer, dryer, or kitchen appliances avoid best buy. I'm leaving this review so people don't make the same mistake I did. I decided to take advantage of a good deal on a dryer online. I made the purchase on June 26 or 28. According to best buy delivery would take place on July 2 I picked a time that would work for both my husband and I. July 1 rolls around they changed the time window without even consulting me I receive a message. Not that big of a deal because I will be home but my husband won't be so I'll just have him help me before his shift. Then July 2 comes they call me hours before saying something about the truck and tech (nothing is really clear I can't hardly understand the agent who is calling me) I'm obviously not thrilled the agent says sorry for the delay we will get it done July 6 ( okay fine I think I should add I've already been without a working dryer since June 26or 28) July 5th I look at the email to make sure I follow all steps for delivery for July 6 I noticed then that it says delivery is on July 6 but installation is July 7 I contacted them because I can't be there necessarily for both days plus my husband works third shift so it would probably disrupt him. I tell the agent on live chat please just move the delivery and installation on one day July 7 they tell me it's resolved I'm irritated slightly but happy it's resolved even have confirmation messages it's done. I wake up on July 6 to a message letting me know my delivery will be coming that very day. I'm frustrated I contact a live agent on chat I have to first fix the delivery address because even though it clearly was correct on my email for the order geek squad doesn't have my correct full address on the appointment links. Then I tell the agent yet again I need delivery and installation on July 7 because I can't have it spread out for two days ( at this point I also don't actually trust that they'd show up for installation) she sends me confirmation that it's resolved I take a screen shot and I received messages stating that. About an hour or even 30 mins later lol I get a message saying that I changed my appointment for delivery and installation to July 22 🙄. Best buy obviously changed everything yet again without consulting me at all. I immediately call best buy the agent gives me dumb rhetoric like I can tell your frustrated so on lol then says let me explain the tech can't come and they can't install it the 7th. To which I replied obviously that's a ridiculous explanation because it was scheduled for installation 7th for a long time there is no reason and couldn't be delivered and installed on the 7th. It had been scheduled to be delivered 6th and installed 7th so that's illogical. I also said things don't change that much in a small time span and I'm not waiting until July 22 🙄 ( to be honest I think they would have pulled the same junk on July 22 if I had). I'm currently waiting for a refund. The agent was also giving me rhetoric and almost felt like he was implying I wouldn't get a refund because the item had never been delivered. Which at that point I did get mad. I cancelled the order and if I have to I will talk to my credit card company if I don't see a full refund. Please save your time. I understand work shortages, but home Depot is more professional and does a better job than these clowns. It's obvious best buy doesn't value customers. I also have my suspicions that the reason my dryer wasn't delivered was partially because it was the weekend of July 4. This isn't how to treat customers.
