I had to give 1 star to write this review. I made a purchase with a Best Buy credit card. I went in and paid the card off at my local Best Buy in Sherman, Texas. I am getting late fees and bills with late fees on late fees. I went once again to my local store in Sherman, Texas, and talked to the manager that was on duty at 5 pm on July 19, 2022. I was told by him that he could not help me. It was Citibank and I would have to deal with Citibank. His only advise was that it would ruin my credit. It was a Best Buy card that I applied for at my local Best Buy in Sherman, Texas. They ran the application. I put my Best Buy purchase on the card they gave me at the register. I came back in a few months later and paid the bill off in cash at the customer service area of my local Best Buy in Sherman, Texas. The bill was paid in full. I even had to complete 2 transactions at the customer service representatives request. They said it was $0.00. Then I get hit with a late fee. Then a late fee on the late fee eventhough a customer representative at the Best Buy store in Sherman, Texas took my cash and said it was paid off.
Below poor customer service and deceptive practice for their own representative to take a pay off and then the customer gets harassed for late fees and all the manager has to say is that Citibank will ruin my credit.
