My order was placed at 12:18pm on October 13, 2022. I went to the Best Buy at Fair Lakes in Fairfax Va. The purchase was made online as it reflected the iPad purchased was in stock. I arrived around 6:45pm and to no avail my iPad wasn't selected to complete the purchase. I was informed there had been system issues all day which is understandable, one sales associate informed another she hadn't gotten to the order yet which was over six hours later!! The sales associate that I initially spoke with said I could cancel the order and purchase the iPad in the store!! The bottom line is Best Buy didn't have my iPad in stock..period!! I spoke with the manager on duty and he said the iPad that was ordered wasn't in stock. This is completely unacceptable as it conflicts what Best Buy has advertised. He said that a delivery truck will deliver merchandise on October 14th between 11-12n. My issue is please don't advertise merchandise that's not available for pick up the same day for the sake of making a sale.
