I went to Best Buy on Christmas Eve. Made it at 5:54pm. They were closing at 6pm. I knew exactly what I was looking for. I asked for Call of Duty Black Ops 4 on PS4. This was my 3rd Best Buy to go to. I was told the game was here before coming. However, the guy tells me there are no more games left. They had a big sale today. Games 1/2 off and a big rush just came in to buy them all. I continue to ask him to check. It’s for my son. He goes to front counter and finds game. Great news right!?...Naw, this is when things dominoe to becoming worse. After he hands me game he continues on elsewhere. He disappears. I get to front counter expecting half off. I am told no there is no sale. I say that’s not what last guy just said. He then calls someone on phone and they say the sale was two days ago. Okay, whatever. Today or two days ago. Doesn’t look like 8m getting the deal. As we are completing transaction and other guy walks up and tells me I have to pay. Now I’m already trying to complete transaction but I’m not u derstanding why I’m becoming surrounded. Now the 3rd guy approaches with his back slightly towards me to demand I pay as well. This time I’m told that the sale was yesterday. (3 different days of this mystery sale have been presented to me) Now I’m becoming annoyed and nervous. ‘Why are they surrounding me and I clearly have my card in machine to pay. I just want clarity on price.’ They also keep asking me to find the guy who told me this but I can’t find him and they aren’t helping me find him. I ask 3rd guy what is he doing and why is he rolling his eyes. He doesn’t even acknowledge me. He fans me off and motions to another employee to call someone. (I later know this means call Police). Why are the Police being called. I haven’t done anything threatening. I haven’t raised my voice. None of it. I’m worried, but not trying to show it. I’m trying to figure out have I done anything wrong and why tf are the Police being called. I pay full price for the game. Then I am threatened with call the police a few more times after this. Every time I tried to speak to the gentleman about my concern he would avoid me and tell someone else to make sure police were called. I assume he was ready to go home and the police were called for me to leave premises. But then I saw other people still in the store. Okay, so I’m not holding them up. Whoever this 3rd person was had everybody ignoring me. I was questioning myself if I was tripping and this has been bothering me since I left. I was degrade, humiliated, profiled, Judged, mishandled, lied to, threatened, and flat given the worst customer service I have ever experienced! I will put a review In everyday. I will be writing a formal letter to corporate and I plan to visit store again to find the proper management to speak to about concern. I will not let this go. Threats are a VERY serious offense. Harassment is even worse and can be detrimental to my health. The Best Buy Gang did their job. Felt like I was on a street corner being hustled by Thugs!
