I cannot believe that Debenhams would work with this company. I have waited in all day for a mattress delivery, after being given a 3 hour timeslot from BJS. They have text me last night, emailed me this morning, confirmed via answer phone, WhatsApp and their tracking system that my order is ‘on route’.
2 hours passed and no delivery has arrived. I’ve WhatsApped BJS who ended the chat both times due to a lack of response from me (when I responded within the same minute as their message). I tried 4 times to get through on the phone.
This is where it gets good!!
I spoke to an absolute clown who told me that Debenhams confirmed the delivery date - not them and that it’s nothing to do with them, Debenhams haven’t shipped the mattress to them yet. He then laughed and said “what did you want us to do? Turn up and knock on your door when we have nothing to deliver?”
I asked to speak to a manager to explain the situation to me properly. He repeated the exact same, told me that they had no stock and that Debenhams sent me that confirmation email. I explained that I had a text, email and WhatsApp’s from BJS confirming the date - not Debenhams. He said that Debenhams sent those emails. I told him that was concerning as they are from the BJS network and they must have been hacked.. he said they have 0 involvement with this delivery and they are not accepting any blame.
I have never spoken to such rude and aggressive customer service agents in my life. I am now dealing with Debenhams to cancel my order in it’s entirety - I refuse to give this company a penny!
