I am so disgusted with the service I received for the ordering of 3 gift baskets for our children for Christmas. I placed the orders over the phone well in advance. When I received the email confirmation of the orders, there was an error on the spelling of one of our children’s name. I called back to correct the spelling and got someone whose accent was very difficult to understand and the background noise on their end made it even more difficult but we did get it corrected. All the information was there for addresses, names, a message and telephone contact number for each order. Two orders were delivered on the requested delivery dates. With the third order I received a message that the delivery driver could not deliver as there was no one there and how did I want to handle it. I called Bloomex and was told that I would be charged another delivery fee and didn’t know when they could deliver it - probably not until new year. First of all I questioned why they did not use the phone number supplied to call my son as he was in fact there when they said the delivery took place. My son has a outside camera and said it showed a truck arriving and driving away. So next question, why do I have to pay for another delivery fee when it was lack of service on your end and also now it won’t be there for Christmas? This truly upset me and I asked Paula to cancel the order and give me a refund. She told me I couldn’t have a refund but she would waive the additional delivery charge. We bantered back and forth and I was not happy with the new year delivery date - that was not acceptable!!!! I asked to speak to a supervisor. She indicated there is no supervisor and I had to talk to her. The conversation did not go well and she hung up on me. I called back and this time my husband talked to someone else who tried to help out by getting the order delivered on the date originally requested. My son finally did get it and they did call him the second time. Why couldn’t this have happened from the original instructions and why does it come down to getting extremely upset. The customer service was into the negatives and sub par at best. If you can’t follow through appropriately, then give the customer a refund!!!! I will never order from Bloomex again and will never recommend you to anyone. I am so disappointed with how this took place.
