I will try to keep this short but it is difficult as there has been so much wrong. I was with Sky for 10 years and left due to poor service and high costs. I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted Virgin to be better...so much worse! I can forgive the clunky TV interface and the disappointing wifi reach. What I can't accept is my broadband dropping almost every month and a poor response to my issues. Cut a long story short, after being without broadband for almost 3 days and numerous calls to Virgin, I was told they could get an engineer to me in 5 days. I was told the broadband might come back within that time but how can i trust it wont go again after so many issues!?!?! I asked to be put through to customer services to cancel my contract. Rather than empathy and effort, what I discovered was a psychopath who was more interested in quoting me regulations than being useful. Despite my protestations that I was leaving due to virgins poor service, I was told I would be charged £150 to leave my contract early. I was also told that Virgin have 30 days to solve a problem before they classify it as a justifiable reason to leave. I refuse to give Virgin £150 for nothing so will be leaving at the end of my contract. I expect more for £90 a month!!!
