Just got off the phone with Virgin- what a joke. My service was cut at midnight on 29th December as I was moving because of the ludicrous costs. At the beginning of January I receive another bill that takes payment until 14th February so I phone them to ask why. The explanation is because they take the money in advance. I explained they had already taken the money in advance and actually owed me money. The gentleman said they would still be taking the next payment and would refund me in 35 days! Apparently Ofcom are ok with this. Sorry Mr Branson but I’ve been a loyal customer and paid you lots of money over the years I should not have to pay for a service that’s disconnected and it shouldn’t take 35 days to refund me money you have no business taking
