After being a loyal boohoo customer for years, ordering many many items I can safely say after the service provided during my last order I will now be spending my money elsewhere and deleting my boohoo account completely. I ordered a dress i Absolutely loved in the sale, in duck egg blue however it came the next day in navy. In a rush for the dress and having eyes only for this one I ordered it again, not wanting it to be sold out assuming the first time was a one off. However I was sent it again in navy, sent labelled wrongly twice. I now have two dresses I never ordered. My only option was to leave home and return them, which I was trying to avoid in the first place by ordering from boohoo and paying next day HOME DELIVERY, to go out and find my nearest Hermes delivery service and use my own fuel to make my way there and back to return both items before they would even contemplate sending me the correct item. I felt the customer service was average at best and very unsympathetic to my situation especially the lovely paul in customer service who I can say was borderline rude and dry with me, totally un empathetic to how I was feeling at the time being inconvenienced by the situation as I care for my mother with dementia and cannot just nip away at will but this was the only option given to me take it or leave it. Boohoos policy. I reckon boohoo should have a pick up service while dropping off the new item if the fault has been with boohoo in the first place and not the customers fault but who am I to say how to run your business more fairly to the consumers. Also a customer complaints department wouldnt go a miss with more experienced staff to deal with such situations in a much more professional and friendly manner. I decided to leave it and take a loss on the dresses and try to sell them on or probably give them away eventually as by the time I got round to having a chance to deal with it, the dress I wanted in the first place was OUT OF STOCK the following week so it would have to be a refund which isn't worth my running around to be honest by the time I pay fuel. I asked for the complaints department and was told "we deal with complaints here in customer service and there was no complaints department" however I was just repeatedly told the same thing and felt my complaint wasn't actually being dealt with at all. It was boohoos way or the highway even though the dresses had been labelled wrongly in the warehouse there was no compensation to me or any other solution and it was the least convenient option for myself. They never offered to keep one aside for me to ensure I would end up with the correct dress eventually once I'd started the return or offered any compensation So! Save your money and go somewhere a little more reliable and a lot more helpful I say. I certainly will be. Very disappointed ex customer!
