Really unhappy with this company. I wanted to purchase the Our Universe Minnie Mouse Light Up Backpack. It was on pre-order around April and there were lots of discount codes available, making it $70. I get to the checkout, enter my international shipping details (U.K.) and make the payment. Every time I tried in a different browser/on a different device it failed. I contacted customer service and they apologised and said it would be available for international delivery when it comes in stock at the beginning of May. I wait until it comes into stock and then try to purchase with a discount code. None of the previous codes worked. I contacted customer service again and they said it was an exclusive and had never been included in discount offers - which is an absolute lie. They probably made a mistake of it being included in the offers previously and cancelled any from going ahead later on. I’m really gutted and decide not to get it. A couple of weeks later, I’m still thinking about it and so decide to go ahead without any code, buying the bag for $99. I put in all my details and get an order confirmation email - and I think everything is sorted. About an hour later, I get an email from Boxlunch and my order has been cancelled. CANCELLED! The email stated it was due to not being eligible for international delivery…even though I was assured by customer services it would be! Just absolutely appalling company and glad I’m not in the USA to be tempted by any of their products. I wouldn’t touch this place with a barge pole after the lack of communication and upset. Just terrible.
