I am sooo frustrated with Brighthouse. My father had an annuity with Brighthouse that we liquidated in December. He had moved into assisted living so we gave Brighthouse his new address (twice), but they sent the check to his old address. I am trying to apply for VA benefits for him so I needed statements. Had to call with dad (understandably). Three times the statements were promised but did not come. They took my email address but now they say they couldn't verify it. Cuz it's my email, not his....but he gave it to them!!! Today they said they mailed the documents last week vis USPA. We'll see. Terribly unreliable customer service with unkept promises.
