My initial service was excellent. So much so that I wrote in to commend the customer services advisor. The majority of my materials were delivered at 10am on the Friday as requested and I would have at this stage given 5/5 and highly recommened Built. The delivery driver was just as friendly as the staff on the phone and I was thoroughly impressed. Unfortunately the large bulk bag of sand was missing, a mistake had been made and I was assured that it would be rectified. This was infuriating as I had help on site for the job and now it couldn’t progress. I was advised it would be delivered between 3 and 5, this was far from ideal as I lost the majority of that day but at least I could start first thing the next morning. I was not going to judge Built on one human error but instead on their ability to rectify it which all seemed in hand. Unfortunately this is where things got worse and why my review is far from 5/5. I got a call on the afternoon of Friday telling me they now couldn’t deliver. I was not at all impressed and somewhat angry that promises weren’t being kept a second time. I said that I NEEDED the sand first thing on Saturday morning but was told that wasn’t possible and in the end I didn’t receive it until circa 10pm This meant I lost at least 3 hours of my second day which after already losing a whole day prior to it I have not managed to complete the job and now need to return in a number of weeks leaving me to lose another weekend and the other person to have an unfinished patio for a number of weeks.
