Purchased an ex-display item and was not disappointed, the Bed is well made and very sturdy, something i was dubious about considering its technically a divan on legs! I wasn't provided any written instructions or paperwork to set up the bed myself, but had a run through in the warehouse and each bit fitted together like a simple jigsaw, but did require two people to do so. Only flaw i can see with the design would be the metal slots which hold the bed together, it is a tight squeeze to get them to slot together, and there is very little to stop the bed from falling through these slots beyond 1 metal screw at the bottom of the metal V shaped slot which could have torn the material as the bed was being put together, and which still plays on my mind as a future problem that may arise.. There has been a slight shift over time in how the bed fits together, with one side of the divan (where they join together in the middle) sinking slightly lower than the other and I've no idea why or how to rectify? Perhaps its my floor or perhaps its an issue with Divans generally (I've never owned one before!) I'm not sure the bed will last as long as my old 12 year old Ikea one did, Mainly due to the possibility of sunfading on the headboard material and the already sunken one side but I'm hopeful. (It would be good to be able to buy stainer like you can do for suede shoes, to re-stain in future) Staff in store were friendly and polite.
