A great idea but poorly executed- I bought a 3 course meal for 2. Ordering process, delivery and presentation all excellent. Process to redeem voucher was playing up on the website (a quick call to the Helpdesk and all was explained but we’d already wasted an hour trying to understand where we were going wrong). I asked them to put a warning message on the website or update their written instructions but not convinced they will do either (help desk agent not great). Meal was good but presented with a full bill at the end with a £39 deduction!! This was resolved when we spoke to the manager. I would almost say it’s easier to just give cash for a meal next time except that Buyagift did work out quite a bit cheaper and without the awkwardness of giving cash.
