Just come back from Liverpool and the full monty show with Caledonian travel . Tony was our driver lovely chap very friendly and funny the full monty show absolutely brilliant upgraded our seats to stalls and got bang in middle of stage view 😊 can't say the same for the adelphi hotel room was bloody freezing small oil filled radiator as heating on a timer came on at 6.30pm went off early hours made the room no warmer room was fusty and everything had a funny smell to it bathroom was awful no shower just bath which was no good as no hot water .... Evening meal and breakfast nice food was hot and there was plenty of it kept filling it up all time so never ran out waitresses in dining room really friendly and would help you with anything same can not be said for reception staff he was rude when I asked to change rooms as it was cold and smelt was told a firm NO and that heating was on a timer for the whole hotel rooms funny that as corridors where hot could feel the heat when you walked out of your room and the lift 🤔 overall the hotel room spoilt it I know u only put your head down for the night but it was awful it really needs modernization and a good clean the outside looks awful but the inside reception and the ground floor entrance looks lovely and again at night all lit up does as well but then get in the lifts to your rooms and that is where it ends such a shame please use another hotel most of our coach party this weekend waa saying the same thing
