The store is generally geared toward bikepacking and touring. Campfire Cycling incorporated The Touring Store, an online provider of Ortlieb bags and Tubus racks. Campfire still sells Tubus racks and Ortlieb (and other) bags, but also sells trailers, camping equipment, and electronics. They don’t sell all the tchotchkes you would find at a big outdoor equipment store, but they seem to concentrate on higher-quality equipment. If you’re in the market for the kind of stuff they sell but don’t know all the ins and outs of picking good equipment, you can pretty much count on the inventory to suit your needs. The site has a Blog section with advice, how-tos, and ride descriptions. I’ve bought equipment from them for years.The order response is quick and accurate, and they answer their emails.
