AVOID AT ALL POSSIBLE COST - DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM CANON UK - AVOID! I never write negative reviews but this has been my worst experience ever purchasing an items from a store online. I Purchased a lens worth almost £3000 thinking I was buying in the safest possible way. Received an empty box after massive delays and attempts to cancel. It was an absolute nightmare of trying to get anyone to tell me what was happening or what was being done about the situation both before and after I received the empty box. I must have put in over 30 requests and phone calls and all I got was and apology for the inconvenience and "we have escalated"each time. MOST of the people in the support section do try to be helpful but they never seem to be able to give me more info or have any real power to do anything. They relay the info off to someone who obviously doesn't care as they are not dealing with the customer and so support can never really give you an answer and there is no way to speak to anyone directly that is dealing with the situation. I kept copies of every email and made sure I was sent a summary of every conversation from the beginning and now have finally received a refund after begging, kicking and screaming my way through endless phone calls and emails. Not once did anyone follow up with me or keep me updated on what was going on unless I called first to ask and even then no one had anything to tell me except its been escalated. Terrible terrible service. I am a platinum member of Canon professional services and I can't believe I am writing this about Canon UK! SO so disappointing! PLEASE PLASE AVOID AND NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM CANON UK!
