I just recently called capitec online fraud contact, from the start, they took long to answer my call , and they transferred me to another customer assistant who couldn’t help me at all , today I just found out that someone used my bank details to subscribe to some online thing , it deducted my money today, I had no idea who was it , because I know it was not me , they told me to go find out from all the people who have access to my card , The reason i called them is because I needed help , I took my time and airtime trying to find answers, asking how I can stop the proceedings transactions because I’m not sure who and when is this person is going to access my card and take more money, they couldn’t even access at list time the transactions ocurred, all they could tell is San Francisco is a company , but I have never subscribe to such things , all they told me Is cancel your card and go make another one and some terms and conditions I couldn’t understand, the assistant was very rude , I asked that they explain to me those terms and conditions in simple words, she responded to me she can’t , she read them the way they are , all I have to say is agree or disagree, if it was an adult! If is someone who doesn’t understand English, i mean you need to understand before agreeing to terms and conditions, all she wanted was to get the job done and read terms and conditions, and all I have to say is yes without even understanding. Capitec bank service is bad , especially when it comes to fraud, they don’t have answers for anything, they will loose customers because their customer service is really bad. I’m so disappointed, I used to hear from people, but today I experienced it myself.
